EUCLIPSE General Assembly meeting
The last EUCLIPSE General Assembly meeting was held from July 8 till July 11 2014 in Egmond aan Zee, The Netherlands and was hosted by KNMI.
This was a combined CFMIP (Cloud Feedback Model Intercomparison Project) GCSS Boundary Layer Cloud Working Group - EUCLIPSE (European Union Cloud Intercomparison, Process Study and Evaluation Project) meeting.
The themes of the CFMIP/EUCLIPSE meeting were:
1. Understanding and evaluating cloud feedbacks, adjustments and climate sensitivity in
climate models
2. Precipitation in a changing climate
3. Cloud/circulation coupling
4. Process based evaluation of clouds and cloud controlling factors in climate models
There were also opportunities to discuss the themes of the WCRP Grand Challenge on Clouds, Circulation and Climate Sensitivity, and proposed experiments for CFMIP3/CMIP6.
